The PreK–8 Experience
Toddler through Middle School through Life
Whether you consider public or private or start at one school and move to another, choosing the right education for your child can be overwhelming. Childhood and adolescence are critical periods of growth and development, and you want an environment where your child can fulfill their greatest potential.
Research shows that students who attend the same school through 8th grade have significant advantages over their peers who move to a separate middle school. Students thrive in an environment where they feel safe, have strong connections, and opportunities for academic achievement and personal growth. They become better equipped for success in high school, college, and beyond.
The Inly PreK–8 Experience provides:
- A teaching community dedicated to the most formative years of your child’s development. Inly teachers are trained to recognize a child’s cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development stages and are skilled at encouraging continued growth. Students become comfortable in their learning and develop greater confidence and self-esteem.
- A strong parent/school partnership. At Inly, teachers and parents work collaboratively to foster the child's development and ensure a greater sense of wellbeing. When families stay through 8th grade, even stronger connections develop. The community of teachers, families, and students get to know each other well, and the child has a wonderful sense of continuity. We welcome parent involvement in middle school as much as in the early years.
- Opportunities for collaboration and leadership. In multi-age classes spanning two or three years, older students serve as leaders and mentors, while younger students feel supported and gain confidence. Middle School students (grades 7 and 8) can take on greater responsibility as the oldest students on campus.
