Empowering Voices: Middle School Students Share Personal Beliefs
Each year, Inly middle school students embark on a journey of self-discovery and expression by writing "This I Believe" statements.
Drawing inspiration from the renowned public radio series of the same name, students delve into their own personal beliefs to craft impactful 300- to 500-word essays.
This year, writing teacher Stephanie McLaughlin added a unique twist to the project by bringing these essays to life through audio recordings. The students were not only able to hone their writing skills but also embraced the power of their voices.
Take a listen as Inly middle school students articulate their individual convictions and weave personal experiences, values, and aspirations into compelling narratives.
