Take a Book. Share a Book.
Inly School invites young readers in the community to “take a book and share a book” at its Little Free Library.
Crafted in a round shape to look like the School’s flagship building, Inly’s Little Free Library is located near the main entrance at 46 Watch Hill Drive, adjacent to the Meehan Family Artsbarn. It is easily accessible to students and their families, as well as passersby. The Little Free Library serves as a point of connection for the community, encouraging individuals to come together through the shared enjoyment of literature.
Inly School’s Head of School, Donna Milani Luther, expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, “We believe in the transformative power of education, and reading is a fundamental aspect of intellectual growth. The Little Free Library is a tangible representation of our commitment to fostering a love for learning and literacy not only within our School but also within the wider community.”
The Little Free Library was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the School’s staff, students, and parent volunteers, who contributed their time and resources to bring this initiative to life. The hope is that this miniature literary haven will become a hub for book enthusiasts and a catalyst for meaningful connections.
Community members are invited to explore Inly School’s Little Free Library, take a book, and contribute to the collection by leaving a book of their own. For more information, contact Head Librarian Erika Hoddinott at [email protected].
